IPEKA Integrated Christian School was built in 1999 as the 9th school in our system in order to provide an international standard of education for Indonesian students. We currently have 1,035 children in grades PK-12th grade. English is the primary medium of instruction and students also learn Mandarin and Bahasa Indonesia. Our curriculum follows Australian curriculum standards and we use American and Australian textbooks. In 2015 IICS received joint WASC (Western Association of Schools and Colleges) and ACSI (Association of Christian Schools International) accreditation.

While we have a beautiful campus, we recognize that our teachers are the “gold in the bank.” We are looking for qualified and experienced teachers to join our biblical learning community in west Jakarta!

Then you are maybe the educator we are looking for. Here in IPEKA Integrated Christian School (IICS), we are looking for educators who are ready to make a difference here in Indonesia, as well as globally. In order to become our team member here in IICS, Indonesian government have established several requirements for foreigners to be able to work in Indonesia. Besides having an appropriate degree (minimum a Bachelor Degree) related to the subject or teaching qualification, all teachers must have 5 years of experience and be between the ages of 28-55.In addition to these standards, IICS is looking for certified teachers who love Jesus and are able to teach from a biblio-centric perspective." CHEMISTRY TEACHER

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Chemistry Education
  • Maximum age of 40 years old
  • Having at least 2 years of teaching experience
  • Having knowledge of IB Curriculum is an advantage
  • Excellent classroom management & communication skills
  • Familiar with online learning platforms
  • Fluent (speaking & writing) in English with IELTS min. 6,5
