Growing Through Experience: IICS Elementary Activities Recap
At IICS, a Christian School committed to holistic education, our recent elementary activity recap showcases how learning goes beyond the classroom through meaningful, hands-on experiences that nurture knowledge, character, and faith in action.
These outings were not just educational trips; they were opportunities for our elementary students to grow in responsibility, creativity, gratitude, and environmental stewardship.
Grade 4 – Learning Responsibility at Kertabumi Recycling Center
Grade 4 students visited Kertabumi Recycling Center with a powerful mission in mind: Reduce. Reuse. Recycle. During this visit, students discovered how waste can be transformed into something meaningful through intentional processes and responsible habits. They observed how materials are sorted, processed, and repurposed, gaining a deeper understanding of environmental sustainability. As a Christian School, IICS emphasizes stewardship of God’s creation, and this experience reinforced the importance of caring for the environment. Students learned that small daily actions—such as separating trash or reducing plastic use—can create a significant positive impact when done consistently and responsibly.
