IICS Achieves Proud Achievements in International Competitions

Praise God, entering 2023 IICS has achieved achievements in international-level competitions.

Congratulations to the students of IPEKA INTEGRATED Christian Junior High School who won the following achievements:

Audrey Effendi won first place in The National High School Debate League of China (NHSDLC) 2023. The National High School Debate League of China is a debate competition held in China every year and is attended by many high school students from various countries. The purpose of this competition is to improve students' speaking and thinking skills, as well as to provide an opportunity to develop self-confidence and the ability to debate in a professional and ethical manner. In addition, IICS is also pleased to announce that Audrey has been invited to take part in the 49th 2023 Harvard National Forensics Tournament in Cambridge, Massachusetts.

Chloe Herliv Chen & Owen Bastian Yap won an Honorable Mention at the 2023 Harvard Model Congress Asia (HMCA). The Harvard Model Congress Asia is a parliamentary simulation event that is held every year in various countries, including Asia. This event is designed to provide high school students with a simulation experience to learn about the legislative and political processes in various countries around the world. In addition, HMCA events also offer the opportunity to learn from political leaders and leading experts in various fields in the hope that students will enhance their understanding of politics and democracy as well as develop leadership, public speaking, and teamwork skills.

IPEKA INTEGRATED Christian School Middle School WSC Team won 67 Gold Medals, 73 Silver Medals, and 7 Trophies in The World Scholar's Cup (WSC), Global Round Qualifiers, Bandung Round 2023. The World Scholar’s Cup is an international team academic program with more than 15,000 students participating from over 65 countries every year.
