2021 IICS Business Studies Charity Program

2021 has been a different year for everyone, especially for the Grade 12 Business Studies students.

They were still learning from home but that did not stop them from creating new businesses for a charity program. As early as January and February 2021, students were already brainstorming new ideas for their businesses. These physicists are Chef’s Crate, Molten Delights, Plantdemic, Unwind, Unbranded, and 11:59. Even in the midst of pandemics, students were able to create various businesses. These businesses enable the students to strengthen their skills in management, leadership, and creativity. It also taught them the importance of how economies of scale and cost leadership greatly benefit the efficiency and profitability of the business. After several months, the profit from six physicists was donated to schools hit hard by the pandemic.

The donation includes the following: textbook, folded study table, notebook, stationeries, healthy food, healthy drink, mask, hand sanitizer, and cleaning stuff. That is a bit of a story about the 2021 IICS Business Studies Charity Program. Although this program is only for a short time, the IICS Grade 12 students can help and provide a glimmer of hope for many people who are less fortunate.
