IICS IBDP Visual Arts Exhibition 2025: Focused Vision with Creative Purpose
On March 6–7, 2025, IPEKA INTEGRATED Christian School Senior High proudly hosted the IBDP Visual Arts Exhibition, showcasing the depth, creativity, and growth of its DP2 students. This annual event is a culmination of the International Baccalaureate (IB) Visual Arts course—an intensive, thought-provoking program that develops students as reflective, culturally aware, and technically skilled artists.
Carrying the theme “Focused Vision” the exhibition reflected not only artistic skill but also personal values. Each piece was the result of two years of exploration, experimentation, and critical thinking, guided by the belief that art can both glorify God and leave a meaningful impact.
The IB Diploma Programme (IBDP) Visual Arts course challenges students to go beyond conventional boundaries. Throughout the course, they are encouraged to analyze global artistic practices, reflect on their creative process, and engage with diverse media and methods. The exhibition highlighted this journey, featuring works that touched on identity, culture, faith, mental health, and contemporary social issues.
Attended by peers, teachers, parents, and members of the IICS community, the exhibition transformed the campus into a gallery of insight and imagination. Students were not only showcasing their technical proficiency but also their growth as critical thinkers and visual communicators.
Rooted in the values of the International Baccalaureate learner profile and the IICS mission, the event was a celebration of both artistic excellence and holistic development. Students emerged not only as art-makers but as globally minded individuals with a strong sense of purpose and empathy.
IICS extends heartfelt thanks to everyone who came to support the IBDP Visual Arts Exhibition 2025. Events like these reflect the school’s commitment to nurturing creativity, faith, and excellence, preparing students to impact the world through both thought and expression.
