Optimizing Limited Face-to-Face Learning, IPEKA Christian School Implements Covid-19 Vaccination for Children

Covid-19 vaccination for children aged 6 to 11 years has started from December 14, 2021 until now. Quoting the official page of the Indonesian Ministry of Education and Culture, Director General of PAUD, Basic Education, and Secondary Education, Ministry of Education and Culture, Jumeri, said "vaccination is a big capital to accelerate learning recovery during the Covid-19 pandemic. Vaccination is not a requirement for limited face-to-face learning (PTM), but vaccination supports the safety and security of children so that they can carry out learning well directly at school.”

Supporting the government's efforts in accelerating the recovery of learning, as well as optimizing Limited Face-to-face Learning, IPEKA Christian School carried out the Covid-19 vaccination for Kindergarten and Elementary School students starting from December 16, 2021 until now.

The first dose of vaccination for children started from the IPEKA BALIKPAPAN Christian School on December 16, 2021, until the last one was carried out by IPEKA INTEGRATED Christian School on January 17, 2022.

Child vaccination activities are scheduled to continue until End February, 2022, with the agenda of administering the second dose of vaccine. In accordance with the agenda, on January 17, 2022, the second dose of vaccination was administered by IPEKA GRAND WISATA.

Praise and gratitude, the students and parents are enthusiastic about the child vaccination program, and the vaccination process can run smoothly. Hopefully, through this vaccination program, IPEKA Christian School Kindergarten and Elementary students will get health benefits and immunity, especially in preparation for Limited Face-to-Face Learning.
