There is no perfect work place but I thank God that 8 years ago, He put me in a place where I could be closer to Him. I have worked in four different schools in more than two decades now. Each school had a good thing to offer. Most of those schools had allowed me to develop professionally and personally.
The challenge of teaching is to decide who you want to be as a teacher, what you care about and what you value, and how you conduct yourself in classroom with students. Teaching at IICS has allowed me to focus on the Master teacher, Jesus who facilitated a student centered curriculum primarily because of His love to mankind. IICS is the only school that I know which provides daily devotions, chapel services, prayer meeting and book study sessions for teachers and staff that helped us to develop spiritually. There is a saying that we cannot give what we do not have. IICS teachers, administrators and staff can pass on the faith, hope and love to the students because we fully understand that we were only recipients of God’s favor. I, myself is a Mom of two girls studying at IICS. They also told me stories about how their teachers care about them. I know that there are lots of schools out there that can provide the best of the best education but one thing that is precious in IICS is the love that teachers freely give to their students.
