Let’s Celebrate Earth Day Together
Every year on April 22, billions of people all around the world come together to increase environmental awareness. Earth Day is the name given to this worldwide celebration. Earth Day serves as a reminder to all of us to keep the environment in mind as we go about our daily lives. It's a day to remember to keep doing the little things that aid the environment such as turning off the lights, conserving energy, planting trees, recycling, reducing, and reusing.
This year, Earth Day has a theme called “Invest In Our Planet”. The goal is to take risks, develop widely, and implement in a fair and equitable manner to our planet. To avert global change, we must all take significant action right now. Otherwise, our economy would be harmed even more, with increased losses and resource scarcity.
