On August 17, 2022, the Indonesian nation celebrates its 77th Independence Day. Announced through the official website of the Ministry of State Secretariat, the government set the theme of the 77th Anniversary of the Republic of Indonesia is "Recover Faster, Rise Stronger", which through this theme is expected to lead Indonesia to "unite more quickly" to prepare itself to face global challenges and become " rise stronger” in advancing Indonesia.

Commemorating Indonesia's 77th independence day, IPEKA Christian School this year rejoiced to be able to hold a flag ceremony onsite. Not only the ceremony, but there was also joy on the faces of the students who returned to celebrate Indonesian Independence Day by participating in exciting and fun competitions, such as tug of war competitions, sack races, relay competitions, basketball competitions, and so on. Not only competitions, but the students also gave performances such as band performances and solo vocals.
